Introduction


Prof.Hatta  Our laboratory aim for elucidating the physiology of animals, plants, and bacteria under molecular level, especially “Gene” and “Protein” function on these organisms. The inherent characters of each organism are encoded by “Chromosome (or Genes)” in cell nucleus. However, we still don’t know a lot about how genes are regulated and expressed, and what the function of the gene products (proteins) are. We are concerned about “Between human and bacteria”, and use bacteria as a model organism.



Researchs

    Concretely,
  • Characterization of genes and proteins for synthesis antibiotics and anticancer drug.
  • Development of clean-up technology of environmental pollutant by its degrading bacterial genes and proteins.
  • Elucidate the mechanism of enhanced immunological function on lactic acid  bacteria.

  • We aspire to persons who will be able to work on both “Medical” and “Biotechnological” field.
