Introduction


Prof. KIHARA We can get some more useful biomedical information, reconstructing or processing medical images that obtained from X-ray, MRI and ultrasonic diagnosis equipments and so on. In addition, patient's condition can be understood accurately by analyzing biomedical information such as electric signal that received directly from operated patients. Therefore, it will become more validly possible to manipulate each medical devices and life support equipments. "Computer science contributes to medical treatment" is the main theme in our laboratory. Functionalities of vital activities such as muscular systems, cranial nerve organizations and cartilage tissues are clarified, using various information obtained from human body. We will research and develop biomedical information technology in order to contribute to various medical treatments.

    • Measurement and modeling of artificial lung operating condition
    • Analysis of arteriovenous system, and so on
